Candy-Webseries on Voot  Based against the backdrop of the mystical hills of Uttarakhand, Candy has all the ingredients of an intriguing suspense thriller. A drug cartel tragetting the young students of a boarding school in the small hilly town of Rudrakund,mysterious murders in the woods,a mythical monster molesting young girls,a school master on a stubborn quest to unravel the myserious happenings after a freak incident which leads to his daughter's death,a lady cop with her own agendas and complications,a ruthless politician and his eccentric son,a traumatised girl with secrets. Candy keeps you hooked from the first frame till the end with the nail biting suspense and thrill, twists and turns and more twists and very intriguing characters. The ending will leave you zapped. Mumbai Diaries 26/11 Another one bites the dust.A fictional account based on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks centred around a hospital, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 has it's fingers stuck in too many pies rather than concentrating on the thriller quotient and the horror of the condemnable attacks. Instead it slyly works on propagating the pseudo liberal mindset,provocative casteist and communal hatred statements through some characters, dialogues and situations taking the garb of a thriller and ultlimately lands neither here nor there.Infact they almost seemed like trying to evoke empathy for the terrorists and justify terrorism by making references to the 1984 riots!! Overt melodrama and exaggerated portrayals of some characters and situations and extremely tacky picturisation of the terrorist attacks,ambush and face off with the Police specially in the hospital would put the 90s Mithun flicks to shame.And inbetween all this they try to touch upon the personal lives and dile...
