Dil Bekaraar-Delightfully refreshing

Dil Bekaraar-Disney Hotstar Series Not having read Anuja Chauhan's Those Pricy Thakur Girls yet,can't say how close the narrative is to the book or how much justice it does with the cinematic liberties disclaimer,but Dil Bekaraar,based on the novel,is a completely delightful watch on it's own as a series. A feel good,slice of life story based in Delhi in the 80s and 90s,Dil Bekaraar takes you on a refreshing,fun filled ride with the Thakurs and the Shekhawat's with ample doses of romance,drama, laughs and a dash of politics and chaos and above all that 80s-90s feel,which all who grew up and belonging to those times would relate to. It has a very Hrishikesh Mukherjee coupled with 80's-90's DD serials feel(which I think was the best era of television) except for the gaalis ofcourse.
