The Last Hour-An interesting murder mystery with a supernatural twist

A hilly town in the enchanting and enigmatic Sikkim rocked by some chilling, mysterious murders.A police officer with a past, investigating the murders joins hands with a young mystic from the mountains gifted with a special ability to communicate with spirits of the dead to see the happenings of the last hour before the death,to track down the murderers.
A daughter traumatised by her mother's untimely death.A mother who guides the mystic,in spirit,to look after her daughter's well being.
An evil force connected to the mystic's past,on a quest to usurp his special powers for evil use.

The Last Hour is an intriguing watch with the mountains serving as the perfect backdrop for this supernatural murder mystery thriller.
Very interestingly woven story and characters.Though the proceedings become a bit slow and repetitive at times, not for a moment do you lose grip and interest.Beautifully shot(Sikkim is love),capturing the spirit of North East.

Sanjay Kapoor as investigating officer Arup Singh does a pretty decent job.But the show clearly belongs to Karma Takapa playing the young mystic Dev.Innocence of the mountains in the eyes and persona, the complexities and inner turmoil of Dev portrayed brilliantly. An actor to watch out for.
One wishes there was more of the graceful and stunning Raima Sen though. Her expressive eyes do most of the talking. But the role seemed ill written.Could have been more depth and character to it.

Shaylee Krishen as Pari,Arup's daughter going through trauma and psychological turmoil plays the character well with perfect body language and expression.
Robin Tamang as Yama Nadu is evil personified.
Well supported by Shahana Goswami,Tenzien Choden,Sonam Thendup Barphungpa,Dewashish Lama,Mandakini Goswami, Lanuakum AO,Lapchen Lepcha, Vivek Pradhan.
I love series which have the feel of an intriguing novel and The Last Hour has that feel.
Inspite of some short comings, like the little vague and hurried looking ending, really loved it.
