War heroes and war stories definitely need more films.To be seen and heard and to make people aware and realise the true spirit of patriotism.To know of the bravehearts who choose to lay down their lives to protect the motherland.
Capt.Vikram Batra was one such war hero and Shershaah is a fitting tribute to the valiant soldier,who in a short span of life,achieved such a huge feat and immortalised himself forever.
Siddharth Malhotra,effortlessly slips into the character doing full justice to each and every nuance of Capt.Vikram Batra.Right from personality,expressions,the gait of a young Army man he has nailed it to perfection.His best till date hands down!!Can't imagine anybody else playing the role. Have always liked Siddharth Malhotra.He may not have been a great actor.But has improved over the years and all his performances have a certain sincerity and are devoid of any kind of pretences or over the top,trying too hard kind of feel.
Kiara Adavani looks as pretty as ever and so cute mouthing the Punhabi lingo.
Their story of unconditional love touches deep.
Shiv Pandit,Shataf Figar, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra,Mir Sarwar,Nikitan Dhir,Sahil Vaid make for a very able supporting cast.
Shershaah would have been an amazing experience on the big screen.But nevertheless a fantastic film which can be watched again.
