Stories which are meant to be told. Stories which are meant to be heard.Not to evoke any feelings of hatred but to make us aware and to realise the cost of freedom.Freedom which we take so much for granted,does not and did not come easy.

We need to know more about the people who laid down their lives without raising an eyebrow for the country.Our current and coming generations need to know more about those people,the right kind of heroes.

Sardar Udham is the story of a man's relentless journey to track down the person responsible for the horrific Jallianwala Bagh massacre.One of the most cowardly and barabaric act of British cruelty in history which,as Udham tells Inspector Swain,has been added just as a footnote in history.

The magnanimity of the horror can never be measured.The onscreen depction gives you goosebumps!!

Shoojit Sarcar has created a masterpiece.Poignant,hard hitting and impactful.

Vicky Kaushal is beyond brilliance in his portrayal of Sher Singh AKA Sardar Udham Singh.Depth,expression,body language.No over the top histrionics or mannerisms at any point.Easily one of the best actors of this generation and otherwise too if I may say.

Amol Parashar as Bhagat Singh in a brief appearance,is a delight to watch.

Stephen Hogan,Shaun Scott,Banita Sandhu,Kirsty Averton and the rest of the cast add to the impact.

A definite must watch.
